Blue Parrott B450-XT – Full Review & More

Blue Parrott B450-XT Headset

I bought the Blue Parrott B450-XT headset about two months ago. Previously I had the Blue Parrott B250-XTS headset and my experience with it was amazing so I thought about upgrading to B450-XT. So after using the b450-XT for over two months I would say that it’s a great headset for you either you are a trucker like me or not. I have used many headsets but I think all the features of blue Parrott B450-XT are by far the best ones.

I wanted a very good noise cancellation because nothing annoys me more than the interruption caused by background noise while I am talking over the phone. Repeating or asking the other person to repeat what they said is way too inconvenient and it breaks the momentum of your conversation. The noise cancellation of the blue parrot B450-XT has been the best I ever had. The voice on both sides during a call is perfectly clear even if my window is down. Hence, I totally agree that it actually provides 96% noise cancellation. The sound quality is also pretty good. I totally enjoyed listening to music on this headset. I can sit back while listening to music with no interference caused by passing by fast vehicles or any other noise.

As a trucker you sometimes have to travel for days and that is why I needed a headset with a long talk time. This one requires charging after 24 hours and that too if you talk on it for 24 hours straight that is quite rare for me. I mostly talk on it for about four to six hours a day and then charge it just once a day. Moreover, on days when I talk for an hour a day it requires charging after a week. This is great for me. The Bluetooth range is also very good that is 300 feet as compared with 66 feet that I previously had. I can leave my phone in my truck and go to the store to buy some snacks and still have a clear conversation over the call. You can check more wireless trucker options here too.

The only thing I did not like about this headset is that the headset is big in size. The earcups are large and the headset seems bulky. But even with a big size it is pretty comfortable to wear so I think overall it’s a pretty good headset. The microphone can be rotated or turned at any angle so that it can be adjusted to your liking. It has great features but the only thing is that it does not look good when you wear it. The B250-XTS that I previously had was very slim and sleek and it looked very stylish. I think in looks I would prefer the B250-XTS but in terms of features no other headset can beat the B450-XT.
